For a short break away from the golf course, the Bangsbo area is well worth a visit. Here you can explore the forest, the botanical garden and Pikkerbakken, where you can enjoy an impressive view across Frederikshavn, the harbour and the Kattegat.
Closer to the town centre, you will find shops, cafés and restaurants around the pedestrian streets. The harbour and waterfront are also central to life in Frederikshavn and reflect the strong connection between the city and the sea.
